Augustino Aloyce

Augustino used to live in a slum with his older brother Jackson and his alcoholic father. To look for a better life, he ran to the streets with his brother when he was just 7 years old. Together they lived on the streets for one year, supporting themselves by collecting and selling scrap metal. Now 10 years old, Augustino is a very bright and well behaved young man who is excelling in Amani’s on-site education program. One of Amani’s top artists, Augustino loves to draw and paint while spending his free time in our art room.
