Charles Hubert

15 year old Charles Hubert lived on the streets after running away from a difficult family situation. His single mother had no way to earn money and was unable to provide him with food, medical care or schooling. Charles met Godfrey, Amani’s street educator, in Arusha and decided to come to and stay at Amani. Charles is a polite young man who loves to practice his English. An older student, Charles has displayed great maturity by mentoring many of the younger boys at Amani. He also excels at math and would like to become an accountant some day.
