Rescuing Children. Restoring Hope. Transforming Lives.

Daudi Michael

Daudi Michael is 12 years old and comes from the coastal city of Tanga. He lived with his aunts after both of his parents passed away, but the two struggled to find enough to eat and Daudi ran away in search of work. He hitchhiked all the way to Moshi where he was told there were jobs available. On the streets he was beaten by the older homeless children. Luckily, he met some boys who had heard of Amani Children’s Home and they introduced Daudi to Amani’s Street Educator. He enjoys Science and hopes to go to university some day.
