Emmanuel Stephano

Emmanuel is 14 years old and comes from a very poor family in Karatu. While living at home, Emmanuel often went without food and rarely attended school. He lived on the streets of Arusha and Mangola before he met Amani’s street educator and came to Amani. Now at Amani, Emmanuel has made incredible progress with his studies. An avid reader and writer, Emmanuel loves to spend his time in Amani’s library. In his free time Emmanuel likes to play soccer. He wants to become either a driver or a teacher when he grows up.
