Ibrahim Simon

Ibrahim Simoni is 12 years old and comes from Boma N’gombe, a small town between Moshi and Arusha. Ibrahim and his older brother were orphaned when their mother died and their father fled town after being accused of stealing. A few months ago his older brother moved away in search of work and left Ibrahim to live on the streets of Moshi. Once he met with our street educator, Ibrahim decided to come and live at Amani. A talented artist, Ibrahim loves to spend his free time drawing cartoons and maps in Amani’s art room. His dream is to one day have a family and live in his own home.
