Iddi Omari
Iddy, 16, is a polite young man and an excellent student. Because his parents were abusive and unable to provide him with basic needs, Iddy went to the streets to try and support himself. He lived there for one year before befriending one of Amani’s street educators and then moving to Amani. At Amani, Iddy has become an accomplished acrobat and fire twirler. He has also flourished in the classroom and hopes to continue with his studies. Iddi plans to join the Tanzanian military once he has finished his schooling.
