Lelo Juma

9 year old Lelo comes from Moshi. His parents separated when he was a baby and left him with his aunt who was very old and poor. While living with his aunt there were days when Lelo went completely without food. He began going to the streets to try and find things to eat. Lelo says that he loves being at Amani. He is studying in Amani’s starters class so he can catch up in school. In his spare time he loves playing soccer, riding bicycles, and jumping rope.
