Zacharia Damas

Zacharia Damas is 14 years old. He ran to the streets after receiving a traumatizing beating from his father. While living on the street, Zacharia collected and sold scrap metal to get by.

In February, he met our street educator and decided to come to Amani. Now, Zacharia is enrolled in our on-site educational program. In his free time he likes to play games and ride bicycles. By providing family counseling to both Zacharia and his parents, we hope that a family reunification will soon be possible.
