Because Amani is a small, grassroots organization, every donation makes a difference. Amani has no offices overseas, meaning that your donation will be used in the way that it was intended – to care for and protect needy children.

Amani remains committed to its indigenous roots. All of our social workers, teachers, and caregivers are trained, professional Tanzanians.

Your specific donation might provide a table for children to eat on, send a child to school for a year, or pay for bandages and antibiotics.

$10 School uniform for one child.

$25 Sheets and blankets for two children at Amani.

$50 provides medical care for an average of 35 children living on the streets.

$100 Three healthy meals for all the children at Amani for one day.

$200 First semester at Secondary School.

Sponsors give on a monthly basis and receive letters, drawings, and photos from the Amani children throughout the year. Through their generosity, monthly sponsors ensure the long-term health and happiness of the Amani children.

You can also become a monthly sponsor by establishing a direct debit from your checking account to Friends of Amani Australia. All you have to do is send a canceled check to the address above.

Online donations to Amani Children’s Home are processed by Friends of Amani Australia, whose charity registration is pending in Australia. Tax-deductibility status is also pending. 100% of donations are transferred to Amani Children’s Home.
