African JEMS sparkle on BBC Radio
The African JEMS (Judy Dain, Elaine Gale, Margaret Bryant and Sally McClelland) from Devizes, England, are recent, and beloved, Amani Ambassadors. After their “trip of a lifetime” to Tanzania and to Amani, BBC Wiltshire Sound wanted to know about their experience here with the Amani children. The ladies explain that “Our overriding impression of the children we met at Amani is that they were desperate to learn – they cannot learn quickly enough! They take huge pride in going to school.”
