Reunited Families

At Amani we believe that the best place for children to grow up in is a safe and loving family, not in an institution. Amani’s social workers begin trying to locate extended family members of the children as soon as they arrive.

Locating family members is often a challenging task in Tanzania, where roads are unmapped and unnamed, and only a small minority of the population has access to electricity, a telephone or the Internet.
