Rescuing Children. Restoring Hope. Transforming Lives.

Ludovic Ezekiel

Ludovic is 14 years old and lives in the town of Kibosho. After his parents’ divorce, he was rejected by both of his new stepparents and forced to leave home. He came to Amani from the streets in June 2006, but as he was not used to having a constant place to stay, he left several times. Realizing that Amani was the safest place for him, he returned. Ludovic is interested in Geography and likes to play marbles with his friends.

Ludovic Ezekiel was reunited with his parents in the village of Kibosho several months ago. Initially, the reunification was a success; however, when Ludovic failed his school exams, his family became distressed and agitated. In order to get away from the pressure, Ludovic ran back to the streets, where he lived for one month, before he returned to Amani looking for help. Still wishing to live with his family, Ludovic asked Amani’s social workers to meet with them. After meeting with the Ezekiel family, Ludovic was reunited. In order to help the family with their reunification, Amani will continue to pay for Ludovic’s school fees, counseling him and his parents, and providing regular follow-up visits to check in on their progress.
